Alabaster & Bay LLC was founded in 2011 by Joe Tacinelli and Khaled (Kevin) Yamoutl. What started as a simple wish to own a few Arabian horses for pleasure riding quickly grew into dreams of establishing a successful breeding program, based on standing a single, championship stallion of our own selection, training, and showing. Operations expanded rapidly to a full equine facility in South Lyon, Michigan - formerly the Old Orchard Farm, a notable Morgan-horse show farm for many decades. In July 2013, Alison Bishop, Grand Prix-level trainer and showman, joined Alabaster & Bay with the shared vision to build a program based on respect and integrity to the client and to the Arabian breed. Alison conducts training sessions personally - for novice riders as well as seasoned horsemen. Personalized horse training and conditioning in all disciplines is available for a select clientele. General stall or pasture boarding is also offered. The 23-acre facility has easy access to riding trails, open meadow, some of the most beautiful state parks in the region.
